ZTE’s New Blade V7 Plus Launched With 5.2-inch Screen And Quality Rear Camera

ZTE has launched the new Blade V7 Plus, a slight upgrade over the earlier iterations. This new member of the Blade series will not be an exactly cutting edge phone, however. Moreover, the new ZTE Blade V7 will also have the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS besides featuring the octa-core MediaTek MT6753 chipset powering the device. This system was originally launched in 2015 and was primarily aimed at the mid-range market.

ZTE Blade V7 Plus Specs and Features

The Blade V7 Plus will come with a superior S-IPS 5.2-inch display panel. Expect a display resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It also features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal or native storage. This means that ‘Plus’ in the name is also expected to be a slight upgrade over the previous Blade series of phones. There is one new feature as well: a fingerprint scanner has now been squeezed into the rear panel of the handset. Also on board is a larger 2,540mAh Lithium-ion battery as well.

The rear camera will include a 13-megapixel camera which will also arrive with a LED flash. There will be support for autofocus and phase detection autofocus or PDAF as well. The rear camera will now be able to take HD pictures and videos besides taking quality HD videos as well. A 5-megapixel front snapper for selfies and video calling will also be able to complement the rear camera as well.

There is a memory card slot which can expand the native memory to up to 128GB. The new ZTE Blade V7 Plus will have eight Cortex-A53 cores as well as the Mali-T720 MP3 GPU for graphics. The maximum frequency of the CPU is primed at 1.3GHz. Connectivity options on the new ZTE device will also include support for Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, HSPA, as well as EDGE for internet access, Bluetooth 4 Low Energy, and a size factor of 146 x 72.5 x 7.95mm. The phone will first go on sale in Russia and Australia in color options of Platinum Grey and Ion Gold.
