ZTE Blade V9 Specs and Features Revealed, to Launch at MWC 2018

ZTE’s CEO has already announced last month that they were planning to launch 5G enabled handsets by the end of this. Considering 2017, was not a great year for the company with only a few phones hitting the market, ZTE is keen to launch something big this year to make up their slow start to last year. According to the latest reports, ZTE may launch its latest device, the Blade V9 at MWC 2018.

As per a report by Android Headlines, ZTE is likely to unveil a budget smartphone, named Blade V9. The device which featured on ZTE’s Spanish website last year has already received its FCC certification, giving us a hint that it may launch at the MWC event to be held in Barcelona from February 25 onwards.

Coming to the design of the handset, the device is set to become the first from the house of ZTE to feature an 18:9 aspect ratio screen. It may feature a very thin bezel on the sides with a double-sided glass finish, like the U series of smartphones by ZTE. The device will not feature a physical home button and the fingerprint sensor is placed at the rear panel of the phone.

The ZTE Blade 9 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset and would be available in three variants in terms of internal memory. The first variant would feature 2GB RAM with 16GB of internal memory, the second variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage and finally the third variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage space. All the three variants feature a hybrid dual SIM slot to increase the secondary memory further with a micro-SD card. The phone may be fueled by a decent 3,200 mAh battery.

Talking about the optics department, the phone features a dual rear camera setup. The primary camera has a resolution of 16MP with autofocus and f/1.8 aperture. The secondary camera is of 5MP with fixed focus sensor along with dual tone LED flash. It also features a 13MP front-facing camera for selfies. The phone will run on the latest Android Oreo 8.0 OS out of the box.
