HTC Slashes The Price of its U11 Flagship Smartphone by Rs 5,991 in India

The HTC U11 flagship device has received a major price cut of Rs 5,991 in India. The smartphone was launched in India last year at a price of Rs 51,990, and after almost a year, the device has received the price cut and is now available at a price of Rs 45,999. You may take this opportunity and get the smartphone for yourself if you are a fan of HTC brand. However, one must take a note that the phone is available at this lower price only on the e-commerce website Flipkart. It is likely to be available on other e-commerce sites like Amazon India and E-bay soon.

It is to be noted that only the Amazing Silver and Brilliant Black variants are available at this discounted price on Flipkart. The Solar Red and Sapphire Blue variants have apparently not received any price cut and are available at the old price.

To recall, the HTC U11 was launched last year in the month of June and ships with squeezable frames because of the “Edge Sense” technology. It features a 5.5-inch Quad HD 1440p Super LCD 5 display screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top.

The device is powered by a 2.45GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC with Adreno 540 graphics module and 6GB of RAM. It comes with 128GB of internal storage space which is further expandable up to 2TB with micro-SD card support. It is to be noted that it features a hybrid dual-SIM card slot, which means you may use only one SIM card if you opt to use a micro-SD card to increase its memory.

Coming to the optics department, the phone features a 12MP HTC’s in-house Ultra-Pixel 3 rear camera with dual tone LED flash. It features a 16MP camera on the front side that can record videos at 1080p resolution.

The HTC U11 runs on Android Nougat version, which is now upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo. Besides all these, the phone also supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and USB Type-C charging port. A 3000 mAh battery with quick charging facility powers the phone.
