Huawei P20 To Launch on March 27 With Triple Rear Cameras

According to the latest reports, Huawei could launch its latest flagship device, the P20 on March 27 this year. There were speculations that Huawei would not launch its next smartphone at MWC 2018 to avoid getting overshadowed by the launch of the much anticipated Samsung galaxy S9. The company has finally confirmed that it would hold a special event in Paris on March 27 to launch a new series of smartphones. Though the name has not been revealed yet, but speculations are rife  that it could be the P20 series.

Huawei has in fact registered two titles the P11 and the P20, so we are not absolutely sure what the new series of smartphones would be named. But according to a well known leakster Roland Quandt, the Chinese company may name the new series of smartphones, the Huawei P20 series. He has also revealed the code names and color variants of the phone.

He has claimed that the device could be code named “Emily” and it would be available in Ceramic Black and Twilight color variants. The Huawei P20 Lite has been code named “Anne” and it would be available in three color options of Klein Blue, Midnight Black and Sakura Pink.

If we talk about the specifications of the new device, the key aspect of the phone could be the camera section, if we take into account the revelations by a number of leaks featuring the P20. The device could feature three cameras on its back panel, which would make Huawei, the first brand to launch a smartphone with three rear cameras.

One of those three camera sensor could be of 40 megapixel  with 5X hybrid zoom. The front facing selfie camera is likely to be of 24 megapixel to take clear selfies and video calling. Both the cameras are said to be manufactured by well known brand Leica.

The P20 Lite and P20 Plus are also expected to feature the triple rear camera setup along with the Huawei P20. As of now, we do not have any other information about the devices other than the cameras, but we are certain to get more information about the phone soon.
