It seems like Gionee is currently enjoying a launching spree. After releasing the Gionee M7 teaser a few days ago, the Chinese smartphone making company has now confirmed that they are going to launch the Gionee M7 Power through an inaugural event in Bangkok on 28th September. The developers have released a teaser image on Weibo and according to that image, the M7 Power is going to have ‘more than a FullView display’, meaning the upcoming handset is expected to flaunt more than just bezel-less display.
As the name suggests, the Gionee M7 Power is a going to be another variant of the original M7, with better battery aspects. Although we don’t know much about the specifications of the Gionee M7 Power yet, we do know about the features of the original M7. According to a benchmark listing site, the Gionee M7 is pegged to sport a 6-inch full-HD display with 1080×2160 pixels resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood, the handset is expected to house the latest 2.3GHz MediaTek Helio P30 chipset clubbed with 6GB of RAM and ARM Mali-G71 GPU.The Gionee M7 is tipped to feature 64GB of internal storage and will run on the Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. As far the optics segment is concerned, the upcoming device is believed to sport a 16-megapixel primary camera at the back accompanied with flash, autofocus, face detection, touch focus, 4K video and HDR features. The rumors are, the handset will sport an 8-megapixel sensor at the front to take selfies and make video calls.
While the connectivity options are concerned, the Gionee M7 is believed to support Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, and Bluetooth. Moreover, the device might sport all the modern day connectivity options such as an ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, digital compass, pedometer, and proximity sensor.
We believe that the Gionee M7 Power will feature all these specs with a more better and powerful battery.
