The Nubia M2 Play will start sales in India starting September 8. We had yesterday informed you that the device had been launched in the country. The new device will sell for Rs 8,999 and will be an Amazon exclusive product. The device was launched earlier this year in China. This is a smartphone which will run on the Android Nougat 7.o operating platform.
That the Nubia M2 Play would start retailing in India was first made public by the company itself. We had covered the device when it was first introduced. This will be a very good addition to the already burgeoning range of budget smartphones in the country, which offer decent specs and do not burn a hole in your pockets.
Nubia M2 Play Specs and Features
The new Nubia device has on board a 5.5-inch HD display complete with 2.5D curved glass for better and more seamless viewing. It has a display resolution of with 1280 x 720. Able powered by the very neat Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor which has been clocked at 1.4GHz, we expect good performance because it also has for company the Adreno 505 GPU. The M2 Play offers 3GB of RAM paired with 32GB of internal or native storage.
Furthermore, we also enjoyed the expandable storage slot which can support a microSD card and jack up the storage to up to 128GB capacity. As we said previously, this device will run on Android 7.0 Nougat which has been overlaid with Nubia UI 5.0. A 3000 mAh non-removable battery will keep the lights on while a very handy fingerprint sensor comes integrated right into the physical home button out front.
The all-new Nubia M2 Play comes with great camera and optics features, as well as connectivity options. The rear camera has a 13-megapixel sensor and has LED Flash, as well as a Sony CMOS sensor and Hybrid focus. Out front is a 5-megapixel sensor selfie snapper.
