Huawei is lining up to launch various smartphones in the coming months. Earlier we reported that Huawei Mate 10 gets leaked on the internet. Today, another render of an upcoming Huawei smartphone appeared on the internet. The notable leakster Evan Blass leaked images of both front and the rear panel of the Huawei Maimang 6 which is scheduled to make its debut on 22nd September in China. But the interesting fact is Huawei Maimang 6 bears a striking resemblance with the Huawei RNE-Aloo, which got spotted on TENAA, the benchmark and authentication website of China, a couple of days ago.
So according to the renders and some previous reports, the Maimang 6, which will be named as the Huawei G10 outside of China, is going to flaunt a metal body with visible antenna band. The render images also suggest that the upcoming handset will feature a dual-camera setup at the back end and a fingerprint scanner just under the rear-camera panel. Evan Blass also confirms that the smartphone will also sport a dual-camera setup in the front which makes the handset a quad-camera device. The leaked images have also hinted that the Huawei Maimang 6 will come without any physical home button, instead, it will come with the on-screen buttons and capacitive keys, which are located on the right side of the smartphone.
According to the TENAA listing, where the Maimang 6 appeared as the Huawei RNE-Aloo, is going to boast a 5.9-inch FullHD display with 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the house, the upcoming smartphone is going to be packed with an octa-core Kirin 659 processor clocked at 2.36GHz and 4GB RAM. The previous iteration of this series, the Maimang 5 featured a Snapdragon 625 SoC, thus there is confusion about the probable maker of the chipset of the Maimang 6. Apart from the 4GB of RAM, the upcoming handset will feature 64GB of native storage which is further expandable up to 256GB via the microSD card. Moreover, the device is pegged to be backed by a 3,240mAh battery with the support for fast charging. The Huawei Maimang 6 is believed to run on the Android 7.0 Nougat with the company’s very own EMUI skinned top of it. On the optics front, the much-awaited device will feature a 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensors combo at the rear end, and a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel camera combo on the front side.
