Finally, it is here. Motorola has launched its new phone, the new Moto X4, at the international trade fair in Berlin this year, the IFA 2017. Remember that we had predicted that the X4 would come in the first week of September. This new device comes with dual rear cameras and has on board Amazon Alexa, the AI-based smart digital assistant. The X4 also boasts of IP68 certification for dust and water resistance.
One of the major highlights of the device is the fact that it has dual rear cameras. These are no ordinary cameras: they boast of having real-time depth effect while also being important for landmark/object recognition, You can also scan business cards, as well as barcodes and QR codes with these cameras.
Moto X4 Specs and Features
The Moto X4 has a 5.2-inch FHD 1080p display, something we had reported on earlier. At the heart of this new device is a decent 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 630 SoC, which will provide pretty good speed. Two variants have been offered: one is available only for the US and European markets and has 3GB RAM plus 32GB of internal storage capacity. For other markets, there is on offer another variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage space. Both the models have the same battery capacity: 3000mAh.
This battery has a new Turbo Charging feature: it will that is claimed to charge quickly and will offer 6 hours of usage in just 15 minutes of charging. The new Moto X4 will run on Android 7.1.2 stock UI right out of the box. Other connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0, as well as NFC, GPS. Also on board is a 3.5mm audio jack alongside a USB Type-C port.
Moto X4 Price
The new Moto X4 will arrive in two color variants: Sterling Blue and Super Black. As far as the release date is concerned, it will come to Europe later this month. The price tag is €399, which is approximately Rs. 30,300.
