ZTE Launches Nubia M2 Play in India with a Price Tag of Rs. 8,999

After successfully launching in China, ZTE has launched the brand new Nubia M2 Play in India. Originally launched back in June, the soon to be released smartphone has been priced at Rs. 8,999 and will be available on Amazon India within a few days. Despite being a mid-range handset, the Nubia M2 Play comes with a fingerprint scanner, 4G VoLTE capabilities, and Android Nougat OS.  To know more about the specifications of the handset, kindly scroll below.

The brand new Nubia M2 Play flaunts a 5.5-inch HD LCD display with 720×1280 pixels resolution and 274ppi pixel density. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core(4 X 1.4GHz and 4 X 1.1GHz) Snapdragon 435 chipset coupled with a 3GB RAM and Adreno 505 GPU. The Nubia M2 Play comes with 32GB of native storage which the users can further expand up to 128GB through the microSD card slot.

As far the optics segments are concerned, the handset features a 13-megapixel Sony CMOS snapper at the rear end with a f/2.2 aperture, hybrid autofocus, and flash support.In the front, a 5-megapixel shooter is placed with a f/2.4 aperture and 84-degree wide-angle sensor to shoot better selfies. The Nubia M2 Play is backed by a 3000mAh non-removable battery and supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, GPS, and GLONASS connectivity options.

Aesthetically, the upcoming Nubia M2 Play looks a lot similar to the Nubia M2 Lite, which also sports a single camera setup at the rear, curved glass, and metal body. The Home Button is placed in the front along with the fingerprint sensor. The volume keys of the handset are placed on the left side and the power keys are on the right. As the Nubia M2 Play is a trimmed down version of the original Nubia M2, the handsets measures only 7.9mm as far the thickness is concerned.  The brand new handset features company’s Neo Power 2.5 technology which helps in the battery optimization of the device.
