The Chinese tech giant ZTE has launched a new smartphone dubbed as the ZTE Blade Force in the United States with a price tag of $130 (almost Rs. 8,500). The smartphone has been made a Boost Mobile exclusive and can be purchased through this seller only.
With the price tag, you have already guessed that the ZTE Blade Force is an entry-level handset and the specs also indicate the same fact. This newly launched handset sports a 5.5-inch IPS HD display with the pixel resolution of the 1280X720 pixels. Moreover, the handset is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage. The users can further expand the internal storage capacity up to 128GB kudos to the microSD card slot present in the handset.
On the optics front, the ZTE Blade Force flaunts an 8-megapixel snapper at the rear end and a 2-megapixel shooter on the front to take selfies and make video calls. The handset runs on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and is backed by a 3000mAh battery, which according to the company claim is able to provide almost 24 hours of talk time. Talking about the connectivity options, the Blade Force supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, a 3.5mm jack, Wi-Fi (802.11 ac/b/g/n), and a micro USB slot. Not only that, the handset supports global bands, so you can use the smartphone when you are traveling abroad.
ZTE has not announced whether they will launch the Blade Force smartphone outside the United States. From the Indian market’s perspective, there are many such smartphones which fall under the same price range but offer way better specs than the Blade Force. So it is very unlikely that the handset will be launched in India.
