Nokia 2 Now up For Pre-Orders in The US for $99

Good news for fans of Nokia’s budget offering, the Nokia 2. Only a few weeks ago, we had informed you that the Nokia 2 would be launching in India. Now, we have received news that the Nokia 2 will be making landfall in the US and it will be up for pre-orders starting at $99. This is the entry-level smartphone manufactured by HMD Global. Remember that the HMD Global, which is a Finnish company, manufactures the Nokia phones and it has the license to the brand name of Nokia as well.

It must be mentioned here that although the Nokia 2 will be available as an unlocked unit in the US, it will not be compatible with all the carriers. It will only work with the GSM carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile. Other carriers like Sprint or Verizon will not support the device upon its launch. The price tag of $99 indicates that it is decidedly an entry-level phone. Leading online stores like Amazon, B&H, and Best Buy will also stock the device.
