Subjected to several leaks, Nokia 2’s key specs were partly revealed when we reported the device to get spotted on AnTuTu benchmarking site, a day before. Not only that, with other leaks, the smartphone has had its own share of few other leaks, including the one that we reported concerning Nokia 2 to house a powerful battery. Now, the grand day has come for Indian fans to get their hands on Nokia 2. For the live streaming, the event was expected to kick off at 12 pm IST. In addition, HMD Global will also live stream the event via its Facebook page.
Nokia 2 Key Specs and Features
In the designing language, the Nokia 2 smartphone comes with an HD resolution 720×1280 pixels with a display of 5-inches size. Underneath the hood, Nokia 2 houses the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 212 SoC, which is the successor to the Snapdragon 210 that is built as entry-level for four cores ARM Cortex-A7 CPU with a clock speed of 1.3GHz.
With the processor, there’s 1GB of RAM accompanied by 8GB of inbuilt storage. This HMD Global’s device runs the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out of the box. In addition, the device is expected to get an update to Android 8.0 Oreo. On the optics front, the smartphone is equipped with 8-megapixel camera sensor at the rear panel. Whereas, the selfie shooter consists of the 5-megapixel camera on the front panel. Nokia 2 is fueled by a mammoth 4,000mAh battery.
Nokia 2 Price and Availability
HMD Global has recently launched Nokia 7 in China earlier in October. The device got unveiled in two variants- 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM with price tags of CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 25,000) and CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 26,500) respectively. The report from India Today states that Nokia 2 will be available with a price tag of Rs. 6,000 in India. As of now, one may live stream the event right now.
