Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime (2017) Apparently Spotted on GFXBench May Run Android 7.1.1

If the latest report is anything to go by, the Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime (2017) may have been spotted on the GFXBench benchmarking site. Earlier we have seen how the Korean tech conglomerate, Samsung, launched the device’s 2016 version with a model number SM-G570. However, if that is anything to be considered, another Samsung device has appeared on GFXBench with a model number SM-G571. As per the speculations, this may be the Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime (2017).

The GFXBench listing of the device shows that the device will bear a 4.8-inch display alongside will come with HD resolution support of 720 x 1280 pixels. Under the hood, Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime (2017) will be powered by a quad-core processor Exynos 7570 chipset (which is Samsung’s in-house chipset that can give a crucial competition to Qualcomm’s processors) clocked at 1.4 GHz. The processor of this alleged smartphone will be coupled with 3GB of RAM alongside 32GB of native storage, reports GizmoChina.

On the optics front, the alleged Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime (2017) will feature a rear camera of 13-megapixel. Up front, the front panel will be equipped with a selfie shooter of 8-megapixel. Much to the delight of fans, both the front as well as the rear cameras will carry support for full HD video shooting. One may expect this Samsung handset to run the Android 7.1.1 operating system, out of the box.

Apart from the display size of Galaxy J5 Prime (2016), which featured a 5-inch display, almost all specs are similar to this alleged Galaxy J5 Prime (2017). Now that the Korean giant has already launched its 2017 flagship smartphones, there are possibilities for Samsung to develop cheaper smartphones. We already know how the rumor mill is offering news and anticipations on Galaxy A5 (2018) and A7 (2018) devices. As of now, we are ahead of any further news on the launch date, therefore, one may stay glued to us.
