Huawei P Series Likely to Feature Triple-Lens 40MP and 24MP Cameras: Details

If the latest news reports are correct, the upcoming Huawei P series of smartphones will, in all likelihood, have the greatest cameras a smartphone has ever seen. The P series is the flagship devices manufactured by Huawei and every year, something new is added. Recently, the Huawei P10 series was updated to the Android 8.0 Oreo.

The latest information on the upcoming Huawei P series comes to us via leakster-cum-tipster Evan Blass, whose reports have often proven to be correct. In all likelihood, the Huawei P series will feature a 40MP triple-lens camera setup co-developed with Leica. It will also have 5x hybrid zoom. On the front will be a superbly detailed 24MP front-facing snapper. These camera features are far superior when compared to many existing smartphones.

The next-generation Huawei P series

In related developments, the tipster also revealed that there would be greater options and customizations aboard the next-generation Huawei P models. For example, there will be a dedicated “Pro” night mode which will take advantage of the all-new “sensor and optics,” which have been touted to be able to capture “100 percent more light.” An all-new Pro AI camera assist mode said to be capable of performing automatic “scene recognition” and “auto framing” will help the user, photographer, and laymen alike. The poster which Blass revealed also indicate that the phones will help in capturing every essential moment seemingly effortlessly.

Apparently, the company is developing newer and better aspects of AI-based photography features, almost all of which has been kept under wraps. We have previously compared the Huawei P10 and the P10 Plus, both of which had Leica-manufactured cameras. Note that there is no way to be sure of what Huawei plans to do next with its next-generation of smartphones. We will bring you all the latest news as and when they do arrive. So, stay glued.
