New iOS 12 Update May Bring Revamped Do not Disturb, Animojis on Facetime, and More

Apple may introduce a slew of new and exciting features with the latest annual software update. According to reports, the iOS 12 update may bring improvements to emojis, and a set of apps to work seamlessly across all the devices of Apple, namely the iPhones, iPads, and Macs.

These features were expected in the already released iOS 11 update but were reportedly delayed because Apple wanted to upgrade its own process of developing apps and the way they are introduced to the world. Now, instead of putting too much burden on the engineers to develop the annual update on time and cramp a bunch of features in a single update, Apple has planned to focus solely on the operating system of its iPhone and iPad series of devices for the next two years.

According to reports, the biggest change that Apple is likely to bring with the iOS 12 update is the facility to enable a single third-party app to iPhones, iPads and Mac devices together. The new update will be integrated into the upcoming macOS 10.14 and Apple may also introduce some of its iPhone and iPad apps to the Mac devices with the update.

Also, Apple may introduce a new update to the Animojis used in iPhones and iPads, with some new characters and a more user-friendly navigation menu. Apple is also planning to introduce the Animojis to FaceTime, enabling users to put virtual faces over themselves in video calls.

Apple has also planned a newly redesigned version of its stock-tracking app and an upgraded Do Not Disturb feature. This upgraded version would enable the users to automatically reject phone calls and silence them during meetings or other important works. The company is also reported to be working to integrate Siri more deeply into the iPhone, with a new search view option, revamped design, and a more user-friendly interface.

We will have to wait until the first beta version of the iOS 12 is launched to know for sure about these changes and we are sure that is likely going to happen very soon.
