HTC U12+ Image and Specifications Leaked Ahead of Launch in May 2018

We already know that HTC is working on its upcoming flagship device and we have also reported about a leak that surfaced a few days ago, revealing some of the features of the upcoming HTC U12 device. Now, a new image of the alleged HTC U12+ has been leaked online by renowned leakster Evan Blass. Along with the image, some of the specifications of the new devices have also been revealed.

 As per the leaked image, the HTC U12+ is seen sporting a big display screen with very thin bezels on the sides of the handset. It also features a dual-camera setup on the back of the smartphone. On the front, it also sports a dual-camera setup. A circular fingerprint sensor can also be seen below the camera module on the rear panel of the phone.

As per earlier leaks, the HTC U12+ is expected to come with 6-inch LCD display and WQHD+ resolution. It is likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and backed up with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage.

The camera modules of the upcoming flagship device could be a major highlight. It is expected to feature a primary camera of 16-megapixel and a secondary camera of 12-megapixel on the rear panel of the phone. It may be fueled by a 3,420 mAh battery under the hood with fast charging 3.0 support. Additionally, it may also come with IP68 certification for water and dust resistivity. It will run on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo flavor out of the box.

Evan Blass has also claimed that the HTC U12 may not arrive this year at all. Instead, the company may launch the U12+ directly. Also as per earlier rumors, the device was expected to be unveiled around April this year, however, Blass has claimed that it could get delayed and may arrive in May 2018.
