LG Announces V30s ThinQ and V30s+ ThinQ Prices, Sale Begins

What LG had introduced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2018) has now been concluded with the device’s pricing. And if one reading this post is anywhere interested to purchase either the LG V30s ThinQ or the LG V30s+ ThinQ, then one needs to know that the aforementioned smartphones’ pricing is leaked. Much to add, the brand new LG devices will now start selling in the markets of South Korea. The Korean tech conglomerate has announced the prices of the smartphones formally in its home country.

Specifically speaking, the LG V30s ThinQ has a whopping 6GB of RAM plus 128GB of internal storage. Reports indicate that the device has been priced at KRW 1,048,300 that translates to up to roughly Rs 64,200. On the contrary, the V30s+ which comes with 6GB of RAM and a 256GB of internal storage has a price tag of KRW 1,097,800 (that is approximately Rs. 66,900). The India launch of the smartphones is still now unclear so we need to have a keen eye on every possible news on this front.

LG V30s ThinQ and V30s+ ThinQ Prices Announced, Shipping in Home Country

Essentially being the upgraded version of last year’s LG V30, the smartphones come with subtle improvements such as AI integration, new colors, more memory, as well as an enhanced camera. The smartphone has been made available in two brand new color options: Moroccan Blue and Platinum Gray. The LG V30s and V30s+ ThinQ differs in terms of storage. The smartphone bears a 6.0-inch OLED FullVision display and supports an aspect ratio of 18:9. Under its hood, there’s an older Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC which has been paired with 6GB of RAM plus 128GB internal storage when it comes to V30s ThinQ. There’s a 6GB of RAM plus a 256GB of internal storage in V30s+ ThinQ. The external storage of both the variants come with the support of maximum 2TB.

The device comes with a dual-camera module on the rear panel that can measure a 16-megapixel standard angle sensor as well as a 13-megapixel wide-angle sensor. Up front, fans will get a 5-megapixel wide-angle camera along with an aperture of f/2.2 as well as 90-degree field-of-view. The camera comes integrated with Vision AI which is capable of offering three features AI Cam, Bright Mode, and QLens. LG has also announced that the existing LG V30 users will also receive the AI capabilities through a software update.

On the software front, LG‘s V30s runs the Android 8.0 Oreo OS, out of the box. Fueling the device, there’s a 3,300mAh battery. Connectivity options also include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a, b, g, n, ac, USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible), BLE, and NFC. The feature such as Voice AI has also been included in order to allow users run apps and also change settings using the voice commands. The Voice AI also works with the Google Assistant. The LG V30S ThinQ further comes with the IP68 rating for dust as well as water resistance, face recognition, fingerprint sensor, 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC audio support, and supports wireless charging as well.
