The new devices have been designed with better AI features to compete against the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ that was unveiled yesterday at the MWC event. The latest flagship V series device also features ThinQ AI-powered brand that was launched at CES 2018, held last month. Along with the LG V30S ThinQ AI, the LG V30S+ ThinQ was also unveiled by LG but its availability and price details have not been revealed so far. Talking about the LG V30S ThinQ AI features, the main focus was to provide better camera and voice recognition experience. The company has also built its own Vision AI and Voice AI technologies. Vision AI features three new camera features namely AI CAM, QLens and Bright Mode. AI CAM can analyze elements in the camera frame and can then recommend optimal shooting modes which include portrait, food, pet, landscape, city, flower, sunrise, and sunset. QLens has been designed to scan QR codes more efficiently for a better shopping experience. Besides these, the QLens also offers detailed information about landmarks like statues and important buildings. Coming to the features of the device, it is quite similar to its predecessor with some upgrades for better user experience. It boasts 6GB of RAM and twice the internal storage of the LG V30. The LG V30S ThinQ is also touted to be the thinnest and lightest handset to feature a display of 6-inches or more. The smartphone will be available in two color variants of Moroccan Blue with a tint of green and a Platinum Grey option as well. The LG V30S ThinQ features a 6-inch QHD+ OLED FullVision display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage space. It will run on the latest Android Oreo 8.0 OS out of the box and also features a dual camera setup on the rear with a 16-megapixel and a 13-megapixel camera. On the front, it features a 5-megapixel camera for selfies. The LG V30S ThinQ device boasts 256GB of internal storage space with other features remaining the same. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C port.
