Apple’s New 9.7-inch iPad is Now Available for Preorder on Flipkart

Cupertino based conglomerate Apple recently launched a new iPad 9.7-inch tablet in India for use by students and teachers. The company had also confirmed that the new device would be available for purchase from April onwards. Keeping its promise, the new iPad model is now available for preorder on India’s largest e-commerce portal Flipkart. The e-commerce site has listed the new 9.7-inch WiFi and WiFi+ iPad models on its website which is expected to be made available between April 20 and April 25.

The new Apple iPad 9.7-inch WiFi model with 32GB storage is priced at Rs 28,000 while the 128GB version comes with a price tag of Rs 38,600. The iPad 9.7-inch WiFi+ model has been priced at Rs 35,700 while the 128GB variant of the device is priced at Rs 46,300. Flipkart is also currently offering some great offers on the new iPad models that include No Cost EMIs, up to RS 16,000 on exchange with older iPad models and an extra 5% off with Axis Bank Buzz credit cards.

Coming to the specifications of the new iPad model, it comes with a 9.7-inch LED-backlit display that is manufactured with the latest IPS technology and also supports multi-touch functions. The display also features fingerprint resistant Oleophobic coating with a resolution of 2048 X 1536 pixels. In addition, it also supports Apple Pencil.

It is powered by a 64-bit A-10 Fusion chipset that has an integrated M10 coprocessor. The 9.7-inch iPad tablet sports an 8-megapixel rear sensor with autofocus that can record full HD videos, 120fps slow-motion videos, time-lapse videos and also has 3X video zoom feature. In addition to the above-mentioned features, the rear camera also supports geo-tagging, face detection, live photos, panorama, HDR, and Burst mode. It features a 5 layer lens with f/2.4 aperture.

The Apple iPad tablet also features a 12-megapixel front-facing sensor for selfies and video calling. The front camera comes with a f/2.2 aperture and can record HD quality videos in addition to burst mode and time-lapse. The iPad also comes with a fingerprint sensor and Bluetooth 4.0 support. It is fueled by a 32.4watt-hour battery that can provide up to 10 hours of video playback, WiFi browsing or music playback. It runs on Apple iOS 11 and also supports the Hindi language.
