Leaked 3D Render of the Alleged Moto Z3 Play Reveals its Complete Design

Going by the launch pattern of Motorola over the years, we can expect the Moto Z3 Play to be unveiled in the third quarter of this year. However, we have seen a number of leaks of the new smartphone on the internet over the past few months which include the FCC listing as well. Now a new render of the alleged Moto Z3 Play has surfaced online and has revealed the design of the new smartphone from all angles.

A Twitter user by the name of OnLeaks has leaked a 3D render of the new Moto Z3 Play smartphone. The leaked render has revealed that the Moto Z3 Play may not come with a major redesign from the earlier versions of the device but may, however, feature a few key changes.

As per a report by KillerFeatures, the Moto Z3 Play is shown to feature thinner bezels than its predecessors, probably to accommodate the 6-inch display screen of the new device with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Another key change is the absence of the fingerprint scanner on the front panel. This is probably because of the thinner bezels of the new smartphone. The Motorola branding can be seen on the bottom bezel of the smartphone in place of the fingerprint scanner.

The rear panel of the smartphone also seems to have been redesigned. The connector pins for the Moto Mods appear to have been changed. Instead of the conventional circular pins in the Moto Z series devices, the new device houses rectangular pins. Also, it comes with the same number of pins like its predecessors hinting that the new device will be compatible with older Moto Z series phones.

Talking about the other changes to the new device, the Moto Z3 Play now houses the fingerprint sensor on the right edge. To make way for the fingerprint sensor, the power button has been pushed to the left side panel of the smartphone. It also features a circular rear camera module just below the Motorola branding. The module features two camera sensors with an LED flash. The USB Type-C charging port is housed on the bottom of the smartphone and it does not feature the 3.5mm audio jack.
