Thomson, which is currently owned by French company Technicolor, has launched a new range of Smart LED TVs in India yesterday. Three new models have been introduced which include 43-inch $K UHD TV with HDR support, a 40-inch and a 32-inch model with the same the same specifications. The TVs will be available exclusively through India’s largest e-commerce portal Flipkart from today, April 13 onwards.
The TVs have been affordably priced too. The smallest 32-inch model comes with a price tag of Rs 13,490, the medium 40-inch model is available at a price of Rs 19,990, while the largest 43-inch model is available at Rs 27,999.

Ltd., the Indian Brand Licensee for Thomson, said at the launch event held in New Delhi, yesterday.
He also added “We have already planned to put one more manufacturing line of Led TV by next-quarter in order to offer Indian consumer products that are at par with global Standards i.e. quality, innovation, and elegance, at a competitive price. While technology and innovation remain the core of it, we have worked on many aspects of TV keeping in mind the Indian palate for aesthetics, color, and sound.”
All the three models of the Smart TV’s come with preinstalled apps like Gmail, Youtube, Twitter, Facebook and Netflix and runs on Android 4.4.4. It also supports Google Play store to download any apps whether paid or free.
