Just a few days ago, the Blackberry KEY2 which is set to become the successor of the Blackberry KEYOne was spotted on Geekbench benchmarking site. The benchmark listing revealed some of the specifications of the upcoming smartphone and now the makers of the handset have released a short teaser video to show off some features.

The short teaser video shared by Blackberry gives us an idea of what we can expect from the upcoming handset. Talking about the features, the video reveals the presence of a third button alongside the power button and the volume rocker on the side of the smartphone. The function of the new button is still a mystery though as the company has not revealed any information about it as of now. However, the button seems to be of an app drawer of some sort.

The teaser video has also revealed the presence of a dual camera module on the rear panel of the phone. The cameras have been arranged in a horizontal configuration along with an LED flash on the top left corner of the smartphone. To recall, the Blackberry KEYOne featured a QWERTY keyboard that made the device really spectacular. The Blackberry KEY2 is also expected to feature the QWERTY keyboard with some minor tweaks to bring additional shortcut functions for the users.

As per the Geekbench listing spotted a few days ago, the Blackberry KEY2 is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm 660 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage space. The smartphone may also feature the customary 3.5mm audio connector jack with a USB Type-C charging port on the bottom edge of the device. Also as per rumors, the Blackberry KEY2 may come with 4G LTE connectivity with dual-SM dual-standby support.

The smartphone is set to be launched on June 7, 2018, at an event to be held in New York City. The global rollout is expected to happen soon after.
