With an around-neck design, the headphones are not completely wireless as the earbuds are connected by a cable to go around your neck. The buds are made up of aluminum and also come with magnetic backs allowing the users to clip them together without entangling them.
The integrated magnets in the earbuds also offer additional features. OnePlus has claimed that clipping the earbuds together pauses the music while unclipping them will resume playback. Apart from the magnetic bud feature, the headphones also offer some additional features. The neckband includes a button each for power and pairing of the device with OnePlus smartphones. It also features a USB Type-C port for charging. With built-in Google Assistant, users will be able to give voice commands to the assistant without having to take out the smartphone from the pocket. The Bullets Wireless headphones also come with dust and water resistivity, which means these, can be used outdoors as well.
The headphones are equipped with Bluetooth 4.1 technology for connectivity and use Qualcomm AptX playback technology to offer high-quality audio playback to the users. As far as the battery is concerned, OnePlus has claimed that the headphones can provide a total of 8 hours of continuous playback. The headphones also support Dash Charge fast charging technology that can provide up to 5 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging time.
The OnePlus Bullets Wireless headphones come with a price tag of $69 (Rs 4,700 approximately) and will be available from June 5 onwards. Although the price and availability in India are still unknown, the company is expected to unveil the device later today at the OnePlus 6 launch event.
