LG unveiled its latest flagship device, the LG G7 ThinQ a couple of weeks ago with some exciting features like face recognition and AI support. Now, the company is starting to roll out the device globally starting with its home country, South Korea. LG has also confirmed that the smartphone will be made available in the markets of Asia, America, and Europe very soon.
The LG G7 ThinQ will be available for purchase in South Korea from tomorrow that is May 18. It will be available in three color variants of New Aurora Black, New Moroccan Blue, and Raspberry Red. Coming to the price details, the LG G7 ThinQ with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at KRW 898,700 (Rs 56,500 roughly). The 128GB variant with 6GB RAM is priced at KRW 976,800 (Rs 61,390 roughly). The company is also providing various launch offers on the device that can be found on the dedicated page. The smartphone is likely to be rolled out in the Asian markets and India by the end of May or early June.
In the US, Verizon will start taking pre-orders of the LG G7 ThinQ from May 24, while US Cellular will start selling it from June 1. Sprint will start pre-orders from May 25.
To recall the specifications of the LG G7 ThinQ, the smartphone sports a 6.1-inch QHD+ FullView Super Bright display with a resolution of 1440 X 3120 pixels. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC under the hood coupled by 4GB of RAM for the LG G7 ThinQ and 6GB of RAM for the LG G7 Plus ThinQ.
On the optics front, the LG G7 ThinQ features a dual rear camera module with a 16-megapixel primary sensor with a 107-degree wide angle lens and f.1.9 aperture. The secondary sensor is also of 16-megapixel with f/1.6 aperture and 71-degree lens. On the front, it features an 8-megapixel sensor with a f/1.9 aperture for selfies and video calls. Both the devices are powered by a 3,000 mAh battery that can easily last through the day.
Connectivity options in the smartphone include 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and NFC. It features the 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port for charging. Sensors onboard include face recognition sensor and a fingerprint scanner.
