Samsung Galaxy J6 with Infinity Display to Launch on May 21 in India

South Korean tech giant Samsung has confirmed that it will launch the Samsung Galaxy J6 with Infinity Display in India on May 21. An event has been scheduled in Mumbai to launch the new smartphone that will go on sale on May 22. Samsung India has also posted a video of the upcoming launch video on Twitter.

The tweet reads “The Samsung #GalaxyJ6 is coming soon with state-of-the-art design and features that will make your life truly infinite. It’s coming to take you #ToInfinityAndMore.” The smartphone will Infinity Display with minimal bezels and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. As per the photo shared on Twitter, the Samsung Galaxy J6 does not feature any bezels on the sides however a thin bezel is present on the top and bottom of the device. Also, the smartphone is set to be a budget device from Samsung with its price under Rs 15,000.

Earlier, the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy J6 was leaked along with another smartphone called Samsung Galaxy J4. Both the devices were revealed to run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Apart from that, The Samsung Galaxy J6 was also spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking website in February 2018.

As per the earlier leaked specifications, the Samsung Galaxy J6 is expected to feature a 5.6-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1480 X 720 pixels. It will be powered by an Exynos 7870 octa-core processor with multiple RAM and storage variants. The galaxy J6 will arrive with 2GB, 3GB and 4GB RAM options along with 32GB and 64GB storage that will be further expandable.

On the camera front, the device is expected to sport a single 13-megapixel camera on the rear panel with an LED flash and an 8-megapixel shooter on the front for selfies. It will be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery that can last through the day even with heavy usage.
