Check out Vodafone's next plans

In response to the long term plans of Reliance Jio and Airtel, Vodafone India has launched two new long term prepaid plans for its subscribers. The two plans are priced at Rs 511 and Rs 569 and come just after a day of Airtel launching a new long-term plan of Rs 567.

The Rs 511 prepaid plan of Vodafone will offer unlimited local/STD and roaming voice calls across all networks along with 100 SMS text messages per day and data benefits of 2GB high speed data per day. The plan has a validity period of 84 days. In total, the company is offering 168GB of data over the validity period of 84 days.

The Rs 569 prepaid plan, on the other hand, offers unlimited local/STD and roaming calls across all networks in the country along with 100 SMS text messages per day. The plan offers 3GB of high speed 3G/4G data per day with a validity period of 84 days. In total, the company is offering 252GB of data over the entire validity period.

To compare these plans with Reliance Jio, we have a prepaid plan priced at Rs 448 that offers 2GB of data per day along with unlimited local/STD and roaming calls to any network and 100 SMS messages per day. It also offers a complimentary subscription to Jio’s bouquet of apps.  The plan has a validity period of 84 days. To talk of 3GB data per day plans of Reliance Jio, there is only one plan that is priced at Rs 299 but has a much shorter validity period of just 28 days.

Coming to similar plans of Airtel, it has a plan of Rs 499 that offers 2GB of data per day along with unlimited calling benefits and 100 SMS messages per day with a validity period of 82 days. It, however, does not have a long-term plan that offers 3GB of data per day.
