OnePlus 6 Red Edition to be Available in India from Today

OnePlus 6 Red Edition will on sale in India for the first time today. It will be available for purchase exclusively via Amazon from 12 pm. This is the fourth color variant of the OnePlus 6, the previous three being Midnight Black, Mirror Black, and limited edition Silk White. OnePlus had also launched a Marvel Avengers limited edition OnePlus 6 device but it was discontinued soon after. The OnePlus 6 Red Edition features a metallic red shimmer body with a fingerprint sensor of the same color at the back.

The price of the OnePlus 6 Red Edition with 8GB RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage has been set at Rs 39,999. Notably, the Red Edition is available only in one configuration mentioned above. It will be available via Amazon and the OnePlus official online store. Customers buying the handset from Amazon India will get Rs 2000 instant discount for payments made through HDFC Bank credit and debit cards.

To recall the specifications of the handset, the OnePlus 6 Red Edition sports a 6.28-inch full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080 X 2280 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage space. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with OnygenOS 5.1 on top.

On the optics front, the OnePlus 6 features a dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary and a 20-megapixel secondary sensor accompanied by a dual LED flash. On the front, it features a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack. It also features a fingerprint sensor and the face Unlock feature courtesy of the front camera. It is powered by a 3,300mAh battery that supports Fast Charge 3.0
