OnePlus Announces ‘Back to School Offers’ on OnePlus 6 which Includes Rs 1500 Discount, No-Cost EMIs and More

Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has announced its own ‘Back to School’ offers for the OnePlus 6 device which is aimed at students. The offers include no-cost EMI options and Rs 1500 discount on purchasing the OnePlus 6 using an HDFC credit or debit card. In addition, buyers will also get no-cost EMI options on Amazon.in and 205 discount on buying OnePlus 6 cases and covers from the official OnePlus online store or offline stores. As a part of Amazon’s ‘Back to School’ offers, students will get special offers on Amazon Kindle. The validity of the offer is from July 23 to July 30, 2018.

The Back to School offers mentioned above are available across all offline OnePlus stores along with the OnePlus online store and Amazon.in. It may be recalled that the OnePlus 6 flagship device was launched in the country back in May, this year. It was initially launched in three variants which include the base variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage priced at Rs 34,999. The second variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage priced at Rs 39,999 and the premium variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage priced at Rs 43,999. The back to School offers is applicable in all these three variants of the OnePlus 6.

The company had also announced at the official launch event held in Mumbai that it has plans to open five new OnePlus Experience stores and ten new service centers across the country. The company also has plans to set up an R&D unit in India and a second headquarter based out of China.

“Our core users are between the ages of 18-35 and students form almost 30% of that community. Students are the most demanding consumers who believe in making educated purchases backed by extensive research and therefore, investing in a premium smartphone becomes that much more crucial,” said Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus India
