After revising its Rs 199 prepaid plan earlier in the week, Vodafone has reportedly revised its Rs 458 prepaid plan as well to offer more data to its users. However, just like the Rs 199 prepaid plan, this plan is also available only to select users in the country.
As per a TelecomTalk report, Vodafone has reportedly upgraded its Rs 458 prepaid plan to offer 2.8GB of 3G/4G data per day. The plan comes with a validity of 84 days. It is also being reported that some users are receiving the same benefits of 2.8GB data per day at a cheaper price of Rs 398. However, this offer is also available only to select users. This means the subscribers will get to enjoy a whopping 235.2GB of 3G/4G data at a price of Rs 458 or Rs 398 for 84 days.
In addition to the data, the plan also offers unlimited local/STD and roaming call benefits along with 100 SMS messages per day. However, the plan comes with a FUP limit of 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week.
To compare the revamped plan of Vodafone with Reliance Jio, the plan competes with the Rs 448 prepaid plan of Jio. The plan offers 2GB of data per day with a validity of 84 days. Jio also has a plan of Rs 449 that offers 1.5GB of data with a validity period of 91 days. Talking about other telecom operators, Airtel has a prepaid plan of Rs 448 that offers 1.4GB of data with a validity of 82 days.
Although the Vodafone plan offers more data than both Reliance Jio and Airtel, the only downside is the FUP limit of 250 minutes per day or 1000 minutes per week. The plans of the other operators do not come with a FUP limit. Also, the plans of Reliance Jio offers a free complimentary subscription to Jio’s bouquet of apps like Jio Music, Jio TV, Jio Cinema and more.
