Samsung Galaxy J2 Core Leaked Renders Show 5 Color Options, Plastic Back and More

Samsung Galaxy J2 Core, which is going to become the first Android Go powered smartphone from the South Korean tech giant has been leaked online via renders. The render shows multiple color variants of the upcoming smartphone and also exhibits a design similar to the one found on a user manual leaked recently. The user manual had revealed earlier that the device will arrive with a removable battery and packs a plethora of Android Go apps like Google Go, Files Go and Maps Go.

The press render leaked courtesy of SamMobile, shows the back of the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core clearly and also reveals five color options of the handset. As per the render, the back panel of the device is seemed to be made of plastic with a matte finish. The render also reveals the presence of a loudspeaker grill on the back panel which is placed just by the side of the camera module that houses a single image sensor with an LED flash. Apart from that, the Samsung branding can also be clearly seen on the back panel.

The tweet posted by SamMobile along with the leaked image does not mention any specification details of the handset. However, as per a Geekbench listing that surfaced earlier, the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core is likely to feature a 5-inch Super AMOLED display powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Exynos 7570 SoC coupled with 1GB RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage space. The smartphone is also expected to sport an 8-megapixel sensor on the rear panel and a 5-megapixel sensor on the front for taking selfies. It will be powered by a 2,600mAh battery under the hood.

Samsung is said to be testing the Galaxy J2 Core for launch in multiple global markets like India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal. The device is also said to arrive with Samsung Experience UX along with on-screen gesture controls and navigation keys.
