Moto G6 Plus to launch in India on September 10

Motorola, which is currently owned by Lenovo is all set to launch the Moto G6 Plus in India next week. After teasing the smartphone via its official social channels last month, the company has finally announced the release date. The Moto G6 Plus will be unveiled in the country on September 10. Notably, the company had announced the Moto G6 lineup of devices in Brazil which includes the Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, and the Moto G6 Play. The Moto G6 and the Moto G6 Play had already been launched in India back in June.

Motorola has officially confirmed that a launch event will take place on September 10 in India where the Moto G6 will be unveiled. The Indian Twitter handle of Motorola has posted a GIF alongside a caption that reads “The #motog6plus is set to arrive on 10th September and is built to give you more with every feature!” The GIF shows that the Moto G6 Plus is equipped with top of the line features like Google Lens, Spot Color, Portrait Mode, Landmark Recognition, Face Unlock and more.

Coming to the price, the Moto G6 Plus was launched globally with a price tag of EUR 299 (Rs 24,350 approximately). The handset was unveiled in multiple color variants like Indigo and Gold. While the official price and details about its availability in India are yet to be announced by the company, we are expecting a word from the company soon.

To recall the features, the Moto G6 Plus sports a 5.93-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 X 2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630SoC with Adreno 508 GPU on top and coupled with 4GB of RAM.

On the optics front, it features a dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it features an 8-megapixel sensor for taking selfies and video calling. Both the cameras are equipped with an LED flash.

The device comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage space which can be upgraded via a micro-Sd card up to a maximum of 128GB. Powered by a 3,200mAh battery, it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
