Acer has announced the launch of two new notebook laptops in India. Called, Acer Aspire 5S and Acer Swift 3, both the laptops have been unveiled in the country. While the Acer Aspire 5S sports a 15.6-inch display, the Swift 3 features a smaller 14-inch display panel. Both the laptops feature thin bezel displays unlike their predecessors and are also the first devices in the country to be powered by the latest Intel Whiskey Lake processors.
Coming to the specifications, the Acer Aspire 5S sports a 15.6-inch full HD IPS display with ultra narrow bezels on the sides. The notebook also incorporates Acer TrueHarmony technology and optimized Dolby Audio driver technology via dual stereo speakers for rendering an optimized sound performance. The laptop also features a Precision Touchpad for smoother navigation.
The laptop is powered by Intel’s Whiskey Lake 8th generation Core i3 and i5 processors. To carry out complex multi-tasking with high-end graphics requirements, the laptop is equipped with NVIDIA GeForce MX 150 graphics card with Intel Optane memory.
Coming to the Acer Swift 3, the laptop is available in two variants in terms of display size, one with a 15.6-inch full HD IPS display while the other features a 14-inch full HD IPS display with very thin bezels on the sides. The Acer Swift 3 laptop is powered by Intel 8th generation Core i5 8130U/8250U processors coupled with up to 8GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 512GB PCIe SSD storage.
The Acer Swift 3 comes with Acer TrueHarmony technology with optimized Dolby Audio drivers to deliver a high-resolution audio experience via dual stereo speakers.
Talking about the price, the Acer Aspire 5S comes with a price tag of Rs 40,999 while the Acer Swift 3 is available for Rs 64,999 in India. Both the laptops will go on sale in November and will be available via Acer Exclusive Stores and third-party retail stores across the country.
