Moto G7, the upcoming flagship device from the Lenovo owned Motorola may be unveiled very soon. Earlier reports regarding the specifications of the smartphone had hinted at a number of features like a waterdrop display notch, Snapdragon 660SoC, and 4GB RAM. Now a new report has surfaced that claims that the smartphone may be launched globally in the coming days. The Moto G7 has been certified by the Federal Communications Commission in the US and several specifications of the smartphone have been listed in the report.
The FCC listing first spotted by 91Mobiles shows the FCC IDs of two Motorola smartphones which are IHDT56XN3 and IHDT56XR3. The model numbers of these two smartphones are XT1952-2 and XT1965-3 respectively. The listing page does not reveal the names of these handsets however these two devices could be two variants of the same smartphone meant for different carriers or markets. The listing shares the complete specification details of the handset like its processors, RAM capacity, internal storage space and so on.
As per the listing, the Moto G7 with model number 1965-3 will arrive with Snapdragon 660SoC, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage space and will be available in the US, Latin America, Europe, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. The schematic image of the handset shows a dual camera setup on the rear panel along with dual-band WiFi and NFC support.
As per earlier reports, the Moto G7 was expected to sport a 6.4-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 X 2340 pixels. It may be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage space. The dual camera module on the rear panel of the smartphone will comprise of a 16-megapixel primary sensor and 5-megapixel secondary sensor. It will also feature a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port for charging. The smartphone may be powered by a 3,500mAh battery that supports fast charging.
