OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple Color Variant Launched in India

Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple color variant in India yesterday. The phone will be available only in one configuration of 8GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage and will be purchased online from Amazon.in and OnePlus online store starting at 10 am on November 16. The smartphone will also be available offline at Chroma retail outlets, Reliance Digital and OnePlus exclusive stores across the country. The smartphone carries a price tag of Rs 41,999 and the company is also providing some exclusive launch offers.

Talking about the launch offers, HDFC Bank credit, and debit cardholders will get an instant cashback of Rs 1,500 on purchasing the phone. In addition, Jio subscribers are also entitled to get cashback worth Rs 5,400. There are also no cost EMI options available on Amazon India and OnePlus stores, free damage protection and discounts of Rs 500 on Amazon Kindle ebooks.

Apart from the OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple variant, two more color options of midnight black and glossy mirror black are also available. The base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 37,999 and is available in Mirror Black variant. The premium variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is available only in Midnight Black variant and comes with a price tag of Rs 45,999.

To recall the specifications, the OnePlus 6T features a 6.41-inch full HD+ optic AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 X 2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of inbuilt storage space.

On the optics front, it features a dual rear camera setup comprising of a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 20-megapixel secondary sensor accompanied by an LED flash. On the front, it features a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies. It is powered by a 3,700mAh battery under the hood and runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box.
