The all new Nubia Z17 appeared on the benchmarking website, GeekBench under the model number NX563J. What got us most excited about the handset is that the listing showed the smartphone packs Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 chipset under the hood.
ZTE nubia Z17 mini was announced back in April 2017 and handset had earlier appeared on TENAA under a similar model number NX569J which prompted us to believe that the NX563J is actually Nubia Z17. The handset is expected to come with 1.90GHz Snapdragon 835 Octa-core CPU, reports GizmoChina.
The device will be backed by 4GB RAM which prompts us to think that the handset is likely going to be a lower variant. The Nubia Z17 Mini was a base variant too and had a higher variant with 6GB of RAM. According to the listing, the Nubia Z17 runs Android 7 Nougat out of the box.
The benchmark score of the handset is similar to that of Galaxy S8+, where the smartphones score 1853 points, on a single core test and 6379 points on the multi-core test.
Ages ago there were rumors that a massive 5000mAH battery will back the Zubia Z17.
As far the specifications of the Nubia Z17 Mini is concerned, the handset sports with a 5.20-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor and comes along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 200GB via a microSD card.
On the front of optics, the Z17 Mini packs a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 16-megapixel front camera for taking selfies. The device measures 146.65 x 72.50 x 7.45 and weighs 155.00 grams. It runs Android 6.0 and is backed by a 2950mAh non-removable battery. The Nubia Z17 mini is a dual SIMed handset and accepts Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, and Headphones.
