When it comes to innovation and design, Vivo is a company which rarely fails to disappoint. We have previously covered the superb Vivo X20, which had shown off excellent specs and very good design. We had reported that the X20 would have two color variants as well, which would add to the appeal of the devices.
This latest report by news.sina.com has now come up with some extra news on the phone. According to this publication, the Vivo X20 will have a more premium offering, the Vivo X20 Plus. Some extra details on the two devices have also been unearthed. For example, we now know that these two devices may launch together. Here are some of the primary features that we have learned about the two phones.
While the Vivo X20 will come with a 5.2-inch display, we expect that the Vivo X20 Plus will come with a 5.5-inch display, which will clearly make it the more premium device. Both the devices will come with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and both will boast of having a Full HD display which will be able to reproduce excellent bright videos and pictures.
While the standard Vivo X20 will be powered by the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, the more premium variant will boast of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. These processors have eight cores making for better and more efficient performance.
These handsets may come with an in-screen fingerprint sensor, which will make it amongst the world’s foremost brands to have this feature. The design philosophy is likely to be bezel-less, much like we had reported earlier. Besides, both the handsets are said to feature an astonishing 24MP front snapper, more than ideal for selfies and video calling features.
Other features include 6GB of RAM aboard each device, as well as a 3,500mAh battery which will provide more than ample juice. The two devices will run on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. Nothing about the price tag is known as of now.
