Umi launches a new Android device named ‘Umi Fair’, priced at $99, which is roughly around 6500 in Indian rupees. Umi is a 10-year-old Chinese Smartphone company and trying to reach the users around the world with its new affordable devices. However, Umi Fair is already available in some online stores. Officials didn’t share any information regarding its date of release in the market. Check out the “Umi Fair” specifications below.
Umi Fair sports 5-inch High Definition IPS display with the resolution of 720×1280 pixels and runs by Android 5.1. A 64-bit 1.0GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6735) processor will have it running with 8 GB of built-in storage and 1 GB RAM. Umi Fair also have microSD slot which will allow the users to expand the memory by 64 GB.
The most interesting part regarding Umi fair specifications that it is 4G enabled and also offers its users GPRS/ EDGE and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity. Talking about its Kodak, Umi Fair carries a 13 Megapixel primary Camera with a blue glass filter. Sony IMX164 sensor powers the rear camera of Umi Fair and it also has 2 MP of front Camera, dual-tone LED flash.

A 2000mAh battery powers the Umi fair. According to the company, the battery will deliver 10.5 hours on-screen time, 6.8 hours of 4G web browsing and 170 hours of standby time. The phone also sports military-grade fingerprint sensor, which is definitely the most interesting part of this phone. Umi officials claim that Umi Fair will provide its buyers 99 percent recognition accuracy that too with 0.32 seconds fingerprint recognition. All those are definitely some great features to have in just Rs. 6,500.
Few days back, Micromax, the Indian Smartphone brand also launched 3 new 4G enabled budget phone named Canvas Play 4G, Canvas Fire 4G and Canvas Blaze 4G. Among them Canvas Blaze 4G and Canvas Fire 4G is Priced at Rs 6,999. While, the Canvas Play 4G with quite better specifications than the other two is priced at 12,499.
