One of the World’s leading smartphone maker, OnePlus is all set to host an event, tomorrow, 29th October, in New Delhi, to launch their latest device OnePlus X aka OnePlus Mini for the Indian market.
OnePlus had earlier released a teaser about the launch of their upcoming smartphone. The teaser shows an image of a large ‘X, indicating that the device might be titled as OnePlus X aka OnePlus Mini. OnePlus had also posted the news on its Facebook and Twitter India pages along with the tagline, “See you on October 29, India.”

The company will also hold events in Beijing, London, and Jakarta along with other major cities of the world.
According to the leaked image we get, the OnePlus X is seen to carry a price of CNY 1,699 which roughly translates to €242 or $267 or Rs.17,346. But we believe it will cost approximately Rs. 20,000.
This Chinese company also posted the news on their website and stated that they would start taking reservations for attendees for the event on October 29, which is scheduled to begin at 4:30PM IST.
As per the report published in Android Headlines, the smartphone was recently certified in China as the OnePlus E1001 and the device would run on Oxygen OS, and will feature IP67 certification for water and dust resistance.
The report further stated that “during the China certification, the unknown device came with the model number E1001 and this is the same model number, which has now been spotted on the FCC listings, further fuelling the notion that this is actually the OnePlus X.”
According to the past leaked reports it is now clear that the device is expected to have a MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) SoC, 5-inch IPS display covered in 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 or 4,2GB of LPDDR3 RAM, 32 GB of eMMC 5.0 storage expandable via microSDXC and a 3,000-3,100 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery.
OnePlus X aka OnePlus Mini is also expected to come with a USB Type-C connector with Quick Charge 2.0 capabilities, Bluetooth 4.1, FM radio, a MT6630 wireless SoC, a 1.2W front-facing speaker, an IR Blaster and an NFC chip that supports Android Pay.
OnePlus X will be available from Amazon India website in a short while though the price has not been declared yet.
