Gionee Communication Equipment Co. Ltd recently launched a new smartphone Gionee M5 Mini within the series of ‘Marathon’ range. It has distinctive features in comparison to other Gionee series smartphones. The USP of this mini version smartphone is focused on its battery which is Li – Po 4000mAh. The China based communication giants introduced the series after the launch of Gionee M5 mobiles which is unlike the latest range.

The latest ‘Marathon’ series smart phone has distinctive features like 5.0” camera with 720×1280 pixels, 8MP video recording, 2GB RAM (MT6580) along with 16 GB storage and micro SD card slot which can be extended up to 128 GB. It functions on GSM /HSPA technology.
It comes in a dimension of 43.5x71x9.6 mm. with Micro- SIM dual stand-by. It uses IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors. IPS display screen is basically In –Plane Switching Liquid Crystal Display which helps in more sharpness and clarity. It has 5.0” body which is equal to 67.6% of total screen. Camera comes with a high resolution power with 720×1280 pixels. Other features like Geo- tagging, touch – focus, face/smile detection, panorama HDR, 8MP ,auto-focus, LED flash and so on.
The CPU runs in Quad-core 1.3GHz processor along with A7 Cortex. It also consists of Mali – 400 GPU. The smartphone includes common features like vibration mode, MP3, WAV ringtones, loudspeaker and 3.5mm jack. Other than this it has facilities like reverse charging, active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, MP4/H.264 player, e AAC + player, photo/video editing, document viewing.
Gionee M5 mini series smartphone uses Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi direct, hot spot, Bluetooth v4.0, A2DP with A-GPS navigation system, micro USB v2.0 along with USB on-the-go. These features help the customers to browse efficiently and hassle free. Through Internet one can browse lots of things like check SMS which has threaded view, MMS, e-mails, push mails, and IM. The smartphone uses HTML 5 as its browser.
Apparently the price is yet to be disclosed as its announcement is on coming month February 2016. The phone can be used continuously up to 18 hours if connected to 3G network. Customers can also choose attractive colors like White, Gold and Black.
Thus, the brand new Gionee ‘Marathon’ M5 mini series will be launched after few weeks. Customers willing to purchase the phone can wait for some more time as this phone has all round distinguished features unlike its other ranges.
