Samsung Galaxy A4: Release Date, Specs Released

Samsung Galaxy A4: This is a big year for Samsung. Only a couple of days the awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was released. One more smartphone of the popular A-series called the Galaxy A4. The company has already launched the Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5, Galaxy A7, Galaxy A8, and Galaxy A9 of the A-series.

According to PriceRaja, five models of Samsung device with code-name SM-A430FD, SM-A430X, SM-A430L, SM-A430S and SM-A430K have been spotted on Wi-Fi certification listing. This gives us a hint that the release date isn’t far. Samsung hasn’t officially announced what the code-names stand for but it is being believed that the Galaxy A3 (2016) was codenamed A310 and A510 for the A5 (2016).

Earlier Zauba reported a Samsung device with code-name SM-A430U (believed to be the Galaxy A4). Three units of SM-A430U were shipped from South Korea to Bangalore, for R&D purpose and evaluation (not for retail sale). Each unit comes with a price tag of Rs. 31,757 (though this may not be the final price).

According to rumors, Samsung Galaxy A4 will feature 5.5-inch HD display, powered by an Exynos processor, runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, and comes packed with a 3GB RAM. Its price tag would fall somewhere between $373 and $448. It is being said, that the device will also have a 5MP selfie shooter and a 3,000mAh non-removable battery, with Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of the box.

The last Galaxy A smartphone that Samsung released was the Galaxy A5 in December 2015. The handset had the same rear and front camera capacity as on the rumored Galaxy A4. Galaxy A5 comes with Adreno 306 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM, as well as a 5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution and featured 294ppi (pixel per inch).

After passing through Zauba and receiving Wi-Fi certification, we are hoping that the Galaxy A4 will be launched soon enough, and more information should surface in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.
