Alcatel has announced the launch of its latest device in the smartphone line, the OneTouch Pixi 4 smartphone exclusively on Flipkart. The 5-inch smartphone is the successor to company’s best-selling Pixi 3 device. The budget-friendly device was initially announced in the CES 2016 in January and will be available in Metal Silver, Metal Gold, Volcano Black, Sharp Blue, Black and White coloured variants at the Online E-commerce website at a price of Rs. 4,999.

The new device from Alcatel sports a 5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) resolution display and is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6735M processor coupled with 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM RAM. The handset has 8 GB of inbuilt memory as well as an expandable storage slot that can hold a micro SD card of up to 32 GB.
The Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 4 measures 140*72.5*9.5 mm and weighs approximately 169 grammes.
Alcatel Pixi 4 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports capacitive touch with two-finger touch support.
Camera and Battery Specifications
The recently launched device comes equipped with an 8-megapixel shooter on the back and has a 5-megapixel front camera both featuring flash modules. The rear camera offers Video Zoom, HDR, Panorama, Photo editor, Photo live filters, Face detection, Geo-tag, and Video stabilisation.
The handset houses a 2000 mAh battery that claims to offer 12 hours of 2G talktime and 11 hours of 3G talktime. Connectivity options on the Dual-Sim device on include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Micro-USB 2.0, among others.
