Vivo hit the headlines on Wednesday with three launches on the trot. The China-based mobile phone maker Vivo unveiled three new devices with titles Vivo X9, Vivo X9 Plus and Vivo Xplay6. And all the devices are regarded as high-end devices, with Xplay6 being the most hyped one.
Vivo X9: Features and Price
Vivo X9 being the first one in the series of the three newly launched devices have quite impressive features. The device will have a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display supporting a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The phone will be running on a 2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 825 octa-core processor and will be supported with 4 GB RAM. Coming to the internal memory the Vivo X9 will be available in the market in two variants, one with 64 GB and the other with 128 GB. Vivo X9 is going to have a 20-megapixel front camera with Sony IMX376 sensor and f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera will be of 16 megapixels with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF). The price of Vivo X9 is set at 2798 CNY (28,000 INR approx) and 2998 CNY (30,000 INR approx) for the 64 GB and 128 GB variants respectively. The device will be backed up by a 3,050 mAh battery and will run on Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Vivo X9 Plus: Features and Price
The Vivo X9 Plus is very similar to that of Vivo X9 barring few changes. The device will be having a similar camera as that of Vivo X9. It is going to have a 20-megapixel front camera with Sony IMX 376 sensor & f/2.0 aperture and a 16-megapixel front camera with PDAF. However, the difference lies on its screen which is a bit bigger at 5.88-inch compared to the 5.8-inch screen of Vivo X9. The Vivo X9 Plus will run on octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 (MSM8976 Pro) processor clocked at 1.4GHz. The device will have a 64 GB RAM and will be available in the market with 128 GB internal memory only. It will also have a better battery back up at 4,000 mAh. The price of this device is yet to be announced by its makers.
Vivo Xplay6: Features and Price
The last, but not the least, is the Vivo Xplay6. Of all the three devices that Vivo launched yesterday, this one is regarded as the best of all, at least the price of the device suggests so. The Vivo Xplay6 is unveiled with a price tag of 4,498 CNY (44,500 INR approx). The device comes with a 5.46-inch Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) Super AMOLED dual curved display. This new smartphone will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. It will have a RAM of 6 GB and an internal memory of 128 GB. The device will run on Funtouch OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. However, the headline feature of Vivo Xplay6 is its 12-megapixel dual rear camera which comes with Sony IMX362 sensor, PDAF, f/1.3 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. The secondary rear camera is of 5-megapixel. Vivo Xplay6 features a 16-megapixel selfie cam with f/2.0 aperture. The fingerprint sensor is incorporated with the home button. The device is backed up by a 4,080 mAh battery which has fast charging capability.
Vivo X9, X9 Plus and Xplay6: Release Dates
Of the trio of the Vivo phones that got unveiled on Wednesday, Vivo X9 has already been made available on the Chinese market. And Vivo Xplay6 has been made available for pre-order. But unfortunately, nothing has been mentioned regarding the release date of Vivo X9 Plus. We can expect that the two of three whose availability has been known will have its release dates on the Indian market somewhere around the middle of December this year.

It is really going to be exciting to see how Vivo X9, X9 Plus and Xplay6 fare in the market. It is expected that these phones will be performing quite well because of not only the staggering rear and front camera features but the other features as well.
