Xbox One Backward Compatibility: Microsoft Adds 3 Classic Xbox 360 Games

Microsoft has released three excellent backwards compatibility Xbox 360 games for Xbox One. Community manager Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb made the announcement on Twitter.

Microsoft adds three classic Xbox 360 games to Xbox One backwards compatibility.

In 2016, excellent titles like Red Dead Redemption, the Bioshock trilogy, the Mass Effect trilogy, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion already made it to the console. Now classic from Xbox 360 are about the join the list, and those are Tekken 6, Midway Arcade Origins and Mutant Storm Empire.

Only a week ago Microsoft had added ten new backwards compatible titles: Dragon Age Origins, Strania, The Splatters, Battlefield 3, Scrap Metal, Ghostbusters as well as Mega Man 9, Mega Man 10, Beat’n Groovy and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 for Xbox One Backwards Compatibility?

If anything, Balck Ops 2 should come to Xbox One. Throughout  Xbox Feedback site, the title is the most requested game for the console in question. It got over 207,000 community votes, far ahead of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that came number two in the list. Moreover, Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, too very wants Black Ops II to come to Xbox One.

“Please don’t take my lack of response on [Black Ops II] as a lack of caring. I really want to see this come to [backwards compatibility],” Spencer tells a fan on Twitter.

Spencer had clarified on Twitter that the titles that are being rolled out with backward compatibility would work same at its does with Xbox 360.

The original Black Ops, along with other Xbox 360 Call of Duty games like Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 3, and Call of Duty: World at War, is already available with backward comparability.

It’s worth mentioning that back in November 2016, Microsoft announced that their next console is going to be a much powerful console and will play Xbox 360 games. Although it’s a shame, one of the most awaited titles – Mass Effect 4 – won’t come to Scorpio.
