5-inch Trinity Smartphone Doubles Up As Windows PC

Trinity’s latest Android-based smartphone has got into production, thanks to a crowd-funding campaign launched by Indiegogo. Equipped with Intel 886 processor and ARM processor, it has the potential to run both on Windows 10 and Android at the same time.

Creator Shane Lewis needs $7,67,000, which is around Rs. 4,94,06,305, in order to begin the shipping by the end of this year.

Created by Shane Lewis from the USA, it is an all-in-one dual machine windows PC and Android smartphone. The best part of the device is the fact that in order to shift from Windows to Android or vice-versa, one doesn’t need to shut down. Lewis now wants a crowdfunding campaign which would help him ship the device by the end of this year.

The specifications of the model include having a storage capacity of 4GB DDR3L RAM and 128GB of internal storage for Windows and 2GB RAM and 32GB MicroSD card for Android. It has a 5-inch display with 800*480 resolution. It is powered by Intel Atom E8000 processor. Speaking of the camera, it has a 13 megapixels primary camera and a 5 megapixels secondary camera.

Although the design of the smartphone is not very pleasing as it is very thick compared to most smartphones available in the market, with a thickness of 17.55mm, which would reach to 19mm. Another disadvantage of the device is that it comes with a not so great battery. It guarantees it only 4 hours of battery life. Additionally, if you use both Windows and Android at the same time, it guarantees just an hour of battery life, as per Gizbot.com.

The aforementioned specifications are for entry model Trinity One which is going to be priced at $699, which is around Rs. 45,000 in Indian currency. For the Trinity Turbo version, you have to spend $869, which is around Rs. 56,000. This version will come with a Pentium N3710 Processor along with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. For the third version, which is known as the Trinity Ultimate version, you have to chuck out $959, which is Rs. 61,700 in Indian value. It comes with the same Pentium N3710 processor, but the difference lies in the storage, as it features 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

Lewis needs $7,67,000, which is around Rs. 4,94,06,305, in order to begin the shipping by the end of this year.
