Scarecrow Gets His Introduction Trailer for Injustice 2

As the release date for Injustice 2 inches closer, developer NetherRealm Studios has been rolling out brand new looks at the game’s aspects. Up until now, we have seen a great many character introductions, but many are yet to be revealed. Now that we are only about a month away from Injustice 2’s launch, we reckon that the creators will be rolling out new reveals more frequently, including new character introductions. The newest character to get its own trailer is Scarecrow, one of the core members of Gorilla Grodd’s villainous alliance, The Society.

Scarecrow’s introduction trailer presents the character in his fearsome avatar as he prepares to bring devastation to the world. At the beginning of the video, he is confronted by Batman who tells him that he belongs in Arkham so he can undergo treatment. Scarecrow does not take it well, obviously, and he starts beating the daylights out of the masked hero.

Batman is not the only character that Scarecrow fights in the trailer; you can also witness him taking on the likes of Black Adam and Cyborg. The character description accompanying the introduction reads: “Scarecrow plays on the fears of the unknown to inflict terror on his victims. An anarchist obsessed with using chemistry and psychology to spread and study fear. He joins the Society in order to sow panic on a global scale.” Watch the video below.

This is not the first time we have witnessed Scarecrow’s presence in Injustice 2. In fact, only a few days back the fourth trailer in the Shattered Alliances series showed Scarecrow as one of the members of Grodd’s army consisting of other DC villains such as Poison Ivy, Deadshot, and Catwoman. There are bits in that video that show off his human form as well.

Injustice 2 is set to release on eighth generation consoles and mobile platforms on May 16, 2017. There are eleven more character reveals to go before the game comes out, with the next one coming up on April 28. Keep an on our website for more updates.
