The much awaited Xiaomi Mi 6 is finally seeing the light of the day as it gets launched today at 12 PM IST. The device will be launched in two variants. The first one, which is called Xiaomi Mi 6 has a 5.1-inch full HD display, while the other one, known as Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus will have a 5.7-inch 2K display. Featuring dual curved edge, the flagship model will sport a ceramic body similar to Mi 2.
Xiaomi Mi 6 will come with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. While the former will be priced at CNY 2,199, which the around Rs. 20,600 in Indian value; the latter is priced at CNY 2,599, which is Rs. 24,300 in Indian value. Coming to Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus, it comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal memory, 6GB RAM and 128GB RAM internal memory, and 6GBRAM and 256GB internal memory. They are priced at CNY 2,699 (Rs. 25,300), CNY (Rs. 29,000) and CNY 3,699 (Rs. 34,600) respectively.
Xiaomi Mi 6 will be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor, which is an upgrade from the Xiaomi Mi 5. It will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The device will feature a 12 megapixels primary camera with 4K video recording support and an 8 megapixels secondary camera for 4K recording, as per Indian Express.
In order to enable fast charging, both the models will come with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4.0 technology. It will have a 4000mAh battery.
