While we wait for the next Xiaomi flagship to roll out, there are several leaks surfacing surrounding the Mi Max 2. There’s a new handset spotted on GFXBench which is allegedly Xiaomi’s upcoming handset Mi Max 2. The new leaks seem to offer pretty promising specification that is guaranteed to get fans excited.
As per the leaks, the handset is supposed to feature a 6.44-inch display along with a super powerful processor. Speaking of the storage capacity, the handset is likely to arrive with a 6GB RAM and a massive 128GB of internal memory. This is going to be one handset that everyone will be looking out for. The handset will be backed by a powerful 5000 mAh battery that’ll support fast charging too. We are yet to learn about the actual handset specifications, and bu have heard that it is currently under the codename “Xiaomi Oxygen,” reports Gizbot.
It’s worth noting that the Xiaomi Mi 6 has also been spotted under the codename, ‘Sagit’ on GFXBench. It seems to offer the following specifications 5.15-inch HD display screen along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor that could be, as per reports, at clocked at 2.4 GHz or 2.2 GHz.
The handset will run on an Android 7.1 Nougat operating system with MIUI on the top and will be coming with a 4GB RAM along with 64GB of internal memory and another possible variant of 128GB. Speaking of the optics, the device offers 12-megapixel rear camera along with 8 megapixels front camera and both of which will be supporting 4K video recording. There are reports that the handset could either be backed by 3,000 mAh or 3,500 mAh.
There is nothing yet confirmed as to when Xiaomi’s next flagship will be launched, but there are rumors that the handset could very well be launched in April. That remains to be seen. Looks like, besides the Mi 6, Xiaomi ha a few other surprises up its sleeves.
