Samsung has been in the news all this while for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and it was on March 29 that Samsung unveiled the smartphone. The rumors which have surfaced regarding Samsung Galaxy S9 state that it will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor under the hood.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset is going to be the next flagship chipset from Qualcomm and it will be a new addition to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, 820, 821 and 835 processors. There are reports that the next product might come out with the name Snapdragon 853 chipset but the inside words have come out the chances of the chipset being named as the 845 chipset is much higher.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset is going to be the next generation chipset that will be built with the second generation 10nm FinFET process which has been termed as the 10 LLP (Low Power Plus) process. It is believed that there is going to be a hike in performance by 10 per cent, or it is going to be a 15 per cent reduction in the power consumption of the device that will come with this chipset under the hood.
