ZTE has been in the headlines of the news and updates from the field of technology quite frequently these days. And of late a new device has been spotted online which has revealed quite a few specs about the smartphone. The new device with the title ZTE Axon 8 has been tipped to be the successor of the ZTE Axon 7.
The GFXBench listing of the smartphone from ZTE with the model number A2018 has revealed that the smartphone will hit the market with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset clocked at 2.1 GHz under the hood. The chipset will be paired with a 4 GB RAM and 128 GB native storage which is pretty impressive. The device from ZTE will have Qualcomm Adreno 530 as its GPU.
The 5.5-inch screen in ZTE Axon 8 will be able to support a display resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels which is at par with most of the high-end smartphones which have come out in the recent days. The camera of the device, as reported, is also expected to be quite good. The rear camera comes with a 12-megapixel lens which will be capable shooting 4K videos. The selfie camera is going to be 8 megapixels. And the device will run on an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
However, there are few discrepancies as far as the camera features of the device are concerned. The TENAA certification of the device has revealed that the smartphone will have a 20-megapixel rear camera while the selfie shooter is going to be 12 megapixels. So until there is an official statement on behalf of ZTE, it can’t be determined what the actual features of the smartphone are going to be.
And at this point of time, there has been no words regarding when the smartphone is going to come out on the market and we need to keep an eye on that. An announcement is certainly on our way and to get all the latest updates do not forget to come back to this thread.
