New leaks about American multinational telecommunications company Motorola‘s latest flagship Moto X4 have now surfaced online, and it has revealed major information about the features of the device, primary among them being the inclusion of a dual primary camera setup, with one being an 8-megapixel sensor and the other a 12-megapixel sensor. The leaks have been revealed by popular leakster and American blogger Evan Blass over his Twitter account.
Blass has revealed that the new device would feature a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1920*1080 pixels. The new reveal also dismisses the earlier leaks that the device would be powered by Snapdragon 6660 processor. Blass has hinted that it would be powered by a 2.2GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor instead.
Storage information about the new device has also been revealed in the new leak. It hints that Moto X4 will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. However, whether the device will be available in a 32GB variant or not is still unknown. Evan Blass has detailed all the leaks in his article for VentureBeat.
As per the battery is concerned, Blass has stated that it would be backed by a 3,000mAh battery, instead of a 3,800mAh battery which was being speculated so far. The secondary camera would be of 16-megapixel. Besides, we can see the new device sporting an IP68 certified framework, meaning it will be water and dust resistant. It will have an aluminum body.
Moto X4 will also come with a front-mounted fingerprint scanner, which apart from unlocking the device, also recognizes various gestures for replicating the functionality of the on-screen navigation buttons. It will run on Android 7.1 Nougat.
We can expect to see the device getting launched in the fourth quarter of this year. Last week, it was revealed that Moto X4 is in the running to be the first non-Google smartphone to get Project Fi.
